About Hotel Kung Carl
Established since 1866
In 1977, the Östlundh family acquired Hotel Kung Carl, which then had 46 rooms and a breakfast dining room. Today we have 143 rooms, a bar & restaurant, conference facilities, a banquet hall, and a mini-gym. Our core values are passion, heart, and responsibility, and we hope that you as a guest will feel this when you stay with us.
Each hotel room is unique in its style and decor. We strive for a classic style with modern design. Over the years, we have purchased a multitude of antique items at auctions in Stockholm. These may include antique clocks, mirrors, and art by famous Swedish artists that adorn our rooms.

Our hotel has been awarded the international environmental label Green Key. We actively work with environmental and sustainability issues, among other things by following Green Key's extensive criteria.
