Björn Arkö Fusion All Stars

A quartet rooted in the golden years of fusion and Miles Davis' electric universe. Saxophonist and windsynth player Björn Arkö tours internationally with drumming legend Billy Cobham, leads the fusion group SLAK, and has collaborated with the likes of Dirty Loops, Gary Husband, and Seiko Matsuda. At the keyboard is the Grammy-awarded pianist, composer, and producer Marcos Ubeda, a long-time member of Billy Cobham's band and keyboardist in the Swedish fusion institution Hawk on Flight.

Jonathan Lundberg is a drummer and composer, known for his progressive and uncompromising expression through his work with the Jonathan Lundberg Band and Linder Bros. On bass, we have the bass phenomenon Samuel Löfdahl, trained at the Royal College of Music and active with several prominent names in Swedish jazz. As Miles Davis' centenary is celebrated in 2026, the quartet 2 of 5 will take off from his electric and genre-defying legacy. With strong melodies, heavy grooves, and ample space for
improvisation, the group continues the fusion tradition with a modern and explosive expression.

Andreas Tilliander & Goran Kajfeš

Two of Sweden's most unconventional and influential musicians meet in the borderland between electronic music, ambient, and jazz. With In Cmin, Andreas Tilliander and Goran Kajfeš create a dreamy and suggestive soundscape where slow electronic pulses, fragile synth tones, and analog textures meet Kajfeš's trumpet and flute. The collaboration has its roots twenty years back in time when Tilliander and Kajfeš started talking about making music together during the Grammis after party in 2005. With In Cmin, that idea has fully blossomed – in music that moves between the precise and the improvised, the down-to-earth and the cosmic.

Aurora Brännström Trio

Personal and stripped-down jazz with a sparkling surface and searching depth.
Since its formation in 2012, Aurora Brännström Trio has spread its unmistakable and irresistible jazz, where the foundation is stripped-down and personal interpretations of classic jazz melodies, mixed with unexpected reinterpretations from completely different genres. The trio is fronted by the incomparable singer Aurora Brännström, whose pitch-perfect and expressive voice is backed up by piano virtuoso Ludvig Lundgren and bass player Mårten
Korkman.

It's easy listening but professional, sparkling on the surface but honest and searching underneath. "The trio manages to navigate well in what some would consider trodden ground
and cleverly avoids the tempting pitfall of mere superficiality," wrote the jazz magazine Orkesterjournalen in its tribute to the album Clermont Avenue (2021). Since then, the trio has released additional albums, the latest being Green Line (2025), which marks a new highlight in the band’s development. This year, the trio has devoted extra energy to honoring one of its sources of inspiration - the icon Marilyn Monroe - whose immortal songs often sneak into the trio's repertoire. AI agents are here — the question is no longer whether you should use them, but how. In this TapTalk, Karin Hamberg Stén takes us into what is actually possible today: how to build, train, and delegate to your own AI agents, and what new ways of working it opens up.

An evening filled with inspiration and concrete examples — you will leave here with a sense that AI is something that enhances you, not replaces you.

How should we understand Russia? Following the news may not be enough.

Bengt Jangfeldt, one of our foremost experts on Russian history and culture, takes us into the Russian world of ideas. What is the narrative Russia has about itself? How have the recurring swings between strict governance and shorter periods of political thaw affected the country up to today?

And does history tell us anything about how Russia may act in the future, perhaps regardless of who is in power?

A conversation about history, power, and myths, about a country that sees itself with entirely different eyes than we do, and why that difference is more important than ever to understand.

Bengt Jangfeldt: Author and translator

He has been awarded the August Prize twice, and in Us and Them he explores "the Russian idea", a book that has become tragically relevant due to Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine.

What happens after the microphones are turned off? One meeting leads to another. A crocodile ends up on the autopsy table, and perhaps can help people with hearing impairments. A meeting with a Nobel laureate turns into an inspiring hug fest with children in a Stockholm suburb. A radio segment becomes a symphony. The ripples continue long after the program is over.

On November 10, we will meet Lena Nordlund, science journalist at Sveriges Radio and honorary doctor at KTH, awarded for her ability to portray the people behind the research.
We discuss the unexpected ripples her journalism has created – between science, art, music, and people – and what nearly three decades behind the microphone have taught her.
