With our location in the heart of Stockholm, at the corner of Kungsgatan/Birger Jarlsgatan, Kung Carl Mat & Bar is the perfect place to meet – whether it's after work with colleagues, an evening with friends, or a dinner with family. From our window tables, you can gaze out over the glittering Stureplan where the pulse of the city is present at all times of the day. Our experienced DJs contribute to the magical atmosphere.

We want to create a dining experience that feels personal, recognizable, and at the same time modern. The food reflects our love for the ingredients – prepared with care and with an obvious balance between the rustic and the elegant. It should feel familiar yet new, always with respect for craftsmanship, ingredients, and the environment.
We cook the food we love to eat – well-prepared, seasonal, and with respect for both the ingredients and tradition.

Kung Carl Punsch
Punsch may be the most underrated ingredient for bartenders. A "smoky fruitiness", like whisky meets rum, but where the alcohol does not dominate the flavor in the same way, gives the punsch a "smooth" and "groovy" character, whose colors and flavors come together in a well-balanced way.
Our own Hotel Kung Carl Punsch is produced by Norrtelje Brenneri and was relaunched in 2021 (the original was developed in the 1880s) with a label preserved at the Spritmuseum. Come by our cocktail bar to taste!
