BIKES
Rent a Bike has bike rentals at Strandvägen, Kajplats 18. Perfect for those who want to rent a bike in Stockholm city. If you want to rent a bike in Djurgården, Djurgårdsboden is a perfect option. Here you can rent bikes at a good price and you can either book in advance or drop by. Helmet and map are included.

Would you like to help us? We hope you want to help us reduce our environmental impact, please:

· Leave recyclable packaging and deposit in the room, and we will sort it for you.

· Take shorter showers and use your towel for an extra day.

· Notify us if the room does not need to be cleaned every day if you stay several nights.

· Turn off lights, unplug electronics, and remove chargers from power outlets.

· Drink tap water instead of bottled water.

· Choose vegetarian and organic options in the restaurant.

GOOD NIGHT'S SLEEP
Our hotel is located in the heart of central Stockholm. Although we have soundproof windows, there may be disturbances from the nightlife. Earplugs are available in your room.
 

SUSTAINABILITY
Our standard is to change sheets every third day. If you wish to change more often or keep them longer, please inform the reception. Towels are only changed if left on the floor. We strive to offer both comfort and sustainability during your stay with us.

INTERNET CONNECTION
We offer free access to our wireless network. Please contact reception for username, password, and/or technical assistance.

JAZZ CLUB
At Kung Carl's Jazz Club, you will find a mix of established Swedish and up-and-coming artists performing live on Fridays and Saturdays. For table reservations, please contact the restaurant

COFFEE & TEA
A coffee and tea tray is available in all our rooms. Please contact the reception for details. In our De Luxe rooms, we offer free espresso coffee & tea. Instructions for the Nespresso machine are provided by the coffee tray.

CONFERENCE
The hotel has five conference rooms in varying sizes, two of which are hybrid adapted. The room rental includes a whiteboard, flipchart, PC projector, laser pointer, and speakers. Please contact the reception for more information and booking.

PARKS
Hotel Kung Carl has an ideal location next to Humlegården, which offers excellent opportunities for picnics and walks. Guests can enjoy a relaxing time in the park or take a stroll in its beautiful surroundings. Additionally, we are pleased to be close to Djurgården, where visitors have the opportunity to rent canoes and bikes. For those who prefer to jog, a round trip along Djurgården's beautiful walkways can extend over 9.5 kilometers and provide a pleasant running experience.

Welcome to our restaurant Kung Carl Mat & Bar on the entrance floor.

Monday - Wednesday 11:30 AM - 11:00 PM
Thursday - Saturday 11:30 AM - 1:00 AM
Sunday 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM

On weekdays, we are open for lunch 11:30 -13:30
Brunch Saturday & Sunday 11:30-15

Please note that on Sundays, during the summer and holidays, we have a limited menu that you are welcome to order via the bar. Please contact the bar for the evening's menu.

NO SMOKING
Please note that smoking is not permitted in our rooms or in public areas. A cleaning fee of 2000 SEK will be charged for smoking in the room.

IRONING ROOM
Located on the 3rd and 4th floors (floor with room numbers 351-359, 401-419). We can also deliver an iron and ironing board to your room upon request, please contact the reception.
 

GREEN KEY CERTIFIED
As a Green Key certified hotel, we actively work with environmental issues. We follow an action plan to be environmentally friendly regarding energy and water consumption, chemicals, and waste management.

We also donate 30 SEK /room for every blue door sign "Child Cancer Foundation"

WASTE SORTING
Our dedicated staff is always at your service, and that includes helping you as a guest with smooth waste sorting. You can safely leave the materials you wish to sort beside the trash can, and we will take care of the rest with care and precision.

SEWING SERVICE
A sewing kit is available at the reception but can also be delivered to your room upon request. For other sewing services, please contact the reception for more information.

NEWSPAPERS
The hotel lobby has Svenska Dagbladet for borrowing.

TOILETRIES
Soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, toothbrush, toothpaste, shaving kit, comb, shower cap, sewing kit, shoe shine kit, sanitary products, and washcloths are available at the reception free of charge. Can also be delivered to your room upon request.

TURBO
Turbo and his puppies will keep you company during your stay but must not leave your hotel room. You are welcome to buy the dogs at the reception.

LAUNDRY
Laundry handed in to the reception by 9:00 AM will be returned the same afternoon. A laundry bag is available in your wardrobe and at the reception.

CHECK-OUT
Check-out is at 11:00 AM. We have a luggage room where you can leave your luggage if needed.

WAKE-UP CALL
You can set your wake-up call yourself on the TV. The hotel is not responsible for missed wake-ups, we recommend using a backup, e.g., the wake-up function on your mobile phone.

SAFE
Available in most rooms as well as in the lobby. The hotel is not responsible for valuables that are not stored in the safe. Never leave your luggage unattended! Please contact the reception for more information.
